I tried a worry window for 30 days (overthinker report)

I'm the person who replays a Tuesday conversation on Saturday night. So when I read about scheduling your worries, I rolled my eyes — and tried it anyway, because eye-rolling wasn't working.

The setup

Every evening, 19:00, kitchen timer, fifteen minutes. One page: everything circling in my head, each item gets one word — a next step or "waiting".

Honest results

Days 1–5: felt silly. Days 6–14: started catching myself at 2 a.m. thinking "this is written down, we're not doing this now" — and it worked, which annoyed me. By week four the night loops were maybe 70% quieter.

Not magic. The list doesn't solve anything. But apparently my brain just wanted a receipt that the worrying was scheduled.

Ten out of ten, would bureaucratize my anxiety again.

«Бюрократизировала тревогу» — забираю в свой словарь. Пробую с понедельника.

Куда записывать, если 2 часа ночи — единственное свободное время? (шучу. частично)

Week 2-3 is where I quit last time. Пост — знак попробовать ещё раз.
