Privacy

The short version: calculators keep their inputs on your device, accounts store only what they need, and optional analytics helps us understand which pages work. We sell nothing, do not use analytics for advertising personalisation, and give you a clear choice.

Without an account

The whole almanac works logged-out. Your theme, language, analytics choice and “my shelf” live in your browser's local storage. Astrology and numerology calculators run locally; birth dates, names and coordinates typed into those forms are not submitted to luminamur by the calculator.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, sessions, approximate location, browser and device categories. We use Microsoft Clarity to see aggregated clicks, scrolling, layout problems and session playback. Calculator forms, rendered results and the private dream journal carry an explicit Clarity mask. Shareable couple-test answer payloads are removed from the address before either analytics vendor loads. We do not attach your account identity, email or calculator answers to either service.

Analytics storage defaults to denied until you choose. With analytics declined, GA4 operates in consent mode and may send limited cookieless measurement signals; Clarity operates in limited no-consent mode without its analytics cookies. Advertising storage and advertising personalisation stay denied either way. If you allow analytics, GA4 may use the first-party _ga identifier, while Clarity may use identifiers such as _clck and _clsk to connect pages into a session.

Review or change analytics choice

With an account

Sign-in uses Firebase Authentication (email, or Google/Apple), which gives us your email and display name. If you add a birth date in your account, it is stored to personalise your horoscope and prefill calculators, and is never shown publicly. Posts, comments and your profile name/avatar are public by design — that's what the community is.

What we don't do

We do not sell personal data, send calculator inputs to analytics, or use these analytics tags for personalised advertising. Standard server logs (IP, time, page) exist for security and rotate out. Google and Microsoft process measurement data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Deletion and questions

Write to hello@luminamur.com from your account email and we'll delete the account and its content. You can also clear local preferences in your browser. This page is written by humans, not lawyers; questions are welcome at the same address.
