What the year means
Bronze is the alloy year: copper plus tin makes something stronger than either — the entire thesis of marriage in metallurgical form. Pottery adds the softer clause: shaped by hands, hardened by fire, and lovelier for visible craft.
Gifts that fit
A bronze figurine or bell, a pottery class taken together (the gift is the flying clay), handmade mugs from a local ceramicist, one beautiful bowl for the table's centre.
A tiny ritual
Make or paint one clay thing each, deliberately imperfect, and keep both on one shelf. Wabi-sabi for two.
