78 cards · five sets · two phases

Learn the Tarot

All 78 cards in five sets: the Major Arcana and the four suits. Phase one — flip through flashcards at your own pace. Phase two — the test: a card and six possible meanings, and you choose the right ones.

The room is opening…

The sets follow the deck's own logic: 22 majors are the big plot points, and each suit is one temperament — Wands burn, Cups feel, Swords think, Pentacles build. Learning them suit by suit is far kinder to memory than going in order.

The test mixes three kinds of questions: card to meaning, meaning to card, and reversed meanings. Some questions have two correct answers — the card's core plus how it sounds in love or work — and the question will say how many to pick.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know anything before starting?

No. The learn phase shows every card with its upright and reversed meaning, love and work readings and a one-line piece of advice. Start with the Major Arcana set — the other suits will come easier after it.

Where is my progress stored?

Only in your browser (localStorage). Nothing is sent anywhere, there is no account — and the reset button on the course page wipes it completely.

What counts as a learned card?

A card you have answered correctly at least twice, with more right answers than wrong ones — or one you marked with 'I know this one' in the learn phase.
